Why Zulu?
Every pilot works in Zulu time. It's the one clock that doesn't change when you cross a border, so it's on every flight plan, every weather report and every slot time. We named our first watch after it in 2023, and it's been a favourite ever since.
The Zulu Automatic is that same watch with a mechanical heart. Its Miyota (Citizen) 8205 automatic movement winds itself as you wear it, so there's no battery to replace.
On the wrist
At 39mm it sits neatly under a shirt cuff, and the longer lugs give it proper pilot-watch proportions. The dial is built for reading at a glance: bold Arabic numerals, a clear minute track, strong contrast and lume on the hands and markers for flying at night. A red seconds hand and a day-date display finish it off.
It comes on a fabric strap inspired by military flying kit, and 100m water resistance means rain and splashes are nothing to worry about.
