SUPPORTING THE ROB WILDEBOER SCHOLARSHIPS AT GOODWOOD

Last weekend, we were delighted to support the Goodwood Aerodrome Social by donating one of our watches to the event raffle in aid of the Rob Wildeboer Scholarships.
The scholarships were established in memory of Rob Wildeboer, the much-loved Goodwood Flying School Manager who sadly passed away in 2021. Since then, the Goodwood aviation community has come together to continue Rob's legacy by helping aspiring pilots begin their aviation journeys.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters, the initiative has raised more than £38,000 and has already helped 26 students take their first steps into aviation. The 2026 programme will provide five further scholarships, including training in both the Cessna 172 and the Piper Cub, ensuring that Rob's passion for encouraging future aviators lives on.
We were honoured to contribute to this fantastic cause by donating one of our watches to the raffle and to play a small part in supporting the next generation of pilots.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who attended the Goodwood Aerodrome Social, purchased raffle tickets and continues to support the Rob Wildeboer Scholarships. The aviation community once again demonstrated its incredible generosity and commitment to helping dreams take flight.
At The Flyer Watch Company, we believe aviation is at its best when people come together to support one another, and we are proud to stand alongside initiatives such as this.
Life is Looking Up.
