FREEDOM OF THE CITY OF LONDON - A PROUD MOMENT FOR OUR CO-FOUNDER

We wanted to share a special moment for The Flyer Watch Company. Our co founder, David Burns, has recently been awarded the Freedom of the City of London. It is a historic honour that recognises contribution to a profession and the wider community.

The ceremony took place at the Guildhall in London. While the Freedom today is largely symbolic, it still carries real meaning and reflects a level of trust, integrity and commitment.

For David, this is not just a personal milestone. Alongside his career in aviation, he has built The Flyer Watch Company with a clear purpose. That has always been about creating aviation inspired watches while giving something back.

That is where Helping Dreams Take Flight comes in. Through flying and gliding scholarships, we are helping people take their first steps into aviation, regardless of their background.

It is a proud moment, but it also says a lot about what we stand for as a company. Keep things honest, work hard, and try to make a difference where we can.
