We are a British, family-owned watch brand whose mission statement is

 

“HELPING DREAMS TAKE FLIGHT”

 

For over 25 years we have been involved in the aviation industry, from Cabin Crew to Pilots, Flight Instructors and even air traffic control.

This industry has not only provided a good standard of living but most importantly it has opened up the world to us. We have visited parts of the world you would not normally see, experienced different cultures and worked within them.

You could say it allowed us to spread our wings.

 

By starting Flyer, we are inviting you to join us on a journey and be part of our community.

 

Yes, we want to sell you a watch, but from there we want to show you what your purchase will be providing and for you to follow the dream that so many people hold but have not been able to achieve.

 

How many of us as a child, teenager, or young adult, have seen an aircraft take off, a pilot walking through the airport, or even a documentary on the TV and held a dream of one day becoming a pilot?

 

To most of us what happens to that dream? It is still there, even if in the background, but life happens, most of it revolving around finances. Even attaining a PPL these days is financially beyond the dreams of many.

FLYER wants to change that.

 

We aim to put 20% of the profit from each purchase (apart from our charity watch, more of that later), into a bursary fund administered not by us, but by a recognised flying institution, to providing people the chance to initially gain their PPL. Of course, if we can achieve enough sales, we would hopefully like to appoint an annual CPL scholarship. 

 

And we want our customers to be involved, follow these people as they progress and hopefully follow their careers and dreams. Not only will you be buying a quality, attractively priced watch from us but you will be able to see how you have changed a life and allowed a dream to become reality.

 

There are many aviation themed watch brands out there, but what makes us different is that we want to give back and let someone else experience what a great life a dream can become.
